Floodwater conveying landmines from India
SIALKOT: The bomb transfer squad defused on Tuesday a high force Indian against tank landmine close to the flanking town Chahoor-Sabzpeer, Pasrur.
Sialkot District Coordination Officer Dr Asif Tufail told correspondents the landmine had arrived in the region gliding along the swollen Nullah Dek from Indian region.
He said the landmine measured 10 kilo, which was spotted by some neighborhood individuals. They alarmed the neighborhood police, and soon the bomb transfer squad was brought in from Sialkot.
This is the third landmine in the two days, seen and defused in Jandiyaala-Zafarwal and Pindi Dewaniyaan.
