Four Customs men bite the dust in street mishap while pursuing dealers

ISLAMABAD: Three authorities of the Customs Intelligence and a driver kicked the bucket in a pile up on the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway while they were pursuing dealers early Wednesday. 

Five Customs authorities were pursuing a gathering of runners in squad vehicle when their auto slipped on a street that was wet because of substantial rain and dove into a despondency along the M-1 close Bahtar exchange. 

As an aftereffect of the mishap, four Customs Intelligence workers including three sepoys and a driver kicked the bucket on the spot while one authority made due with minor wounds, Customs official Imtiaz said. 

The bodies and harmed were moved to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims). 

An authority of National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) said a year ago that an aggregate of 282 mischances happened on M-1 amid the six year time frame from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2013. Out of these mischances, 77 were lethal while 205 were non-deadly.
